A hands-on Masterclass to learn the art of cooking one of the most famous and delicious dishes from Mérida, Yucatán: Cochinita Pibil. Learn how to make homemade Cochinita Pibil. We'll use an oven, but the recipe can be easily replicated at home using a stove. You will also learn in detail how to craft everything else for an authentic cochinita's tacos and tortas dinner with fresh and high quality ingredients: • Harvest your own bitter oranges from my trees and fresh banana leaves from my wild garden, fundamental ingredients in Yucatecan cuisine • Craft the traditional recado rojo with herbs and spices • Make fresh Xnipec (the queen of the Yucatecan salsas) • Learn all the secrets for a great Sikil P'ak salsa • Craft your own masa for handmade corn tortillas from scratch • Cook my special recipe for great cochinita's tacos and special tortas.
