An memorable seasonal hands-on baking class where you’ll craft Mexico’s most beloved sweet bread: Conchas! This masterclass is perfect for adults who appreciate authentic, artisanal baking and want to experience the sweet taste of Mexico in a personal, intimate and mindful setting. You’ll learn to bake traditional Conchas from scratch, with high quality ingredients, following my family’s recipe and artisan preparation. We’ll shape each piece with care, and create the signature crunchy topping that gives Conchas their charm. Proofing time may vary with Mérida’s tropical weather (30–50 min), making each session last around 3-4 hrs. Total. While your bread bakes, we’ll craft my signature blue corn with cacao atole and café de olla to enjoy together with your warm, freshly baked Conchas. All ingredients and materials are included.
